This important franchise will play a key role in the delivery of major service improvements for passengers, not only in London with the nationally significant Thameslink and the East London Line programmes, but also across the whole of the South Central network through the delivery of longer and more reliable trains, smartcards, safer and more accessible stations, and improved performance.
These are all areas in which NedRailways has world leading expertise, and we now look forward to submitting our plans for operating this franchise and delivering the major programmes.
