Remco Wieland started working for Nederlandse Spoorwegen in 2005 as Change Consultant for an extensive organisation wide cultural change programme. Previously working for several external consultancy companies specialising in organisational and cultural change he built experience around vision and strategy development, leadership and management development. And also being a change facilitator at middle management and senior management level. After a few years Remco became HR manager for the Area Network Randstad Zuid, dealing with broader business issues as Service delivery on trains and train presence, Staff support during disruptions, large scale recruitment and managing shortage in staff. After two years he moved to his current position at Merseyrail, on a prolonged secondment/management exchange programme. He now works as interim head of Organisational Development and of the Training and Development department. Remco holds a Master of Arts in Business and Change management and a Bachelor degree in HR management.
