Berry Sas has more than 15 years experience in the rail industry. Since 2002 he is working for NedRailways and he participated as Team leader Operations and Performance in the Wales and Borders bid and in the Merseyrail bid and mobilisation and the Northern bid and mobilisation. During Northern mobilisation and the first year of the new franchise he acted as Operations Director and was responsible for implementing the new performance regime and Joint Performance Improvement Plan, the new Track Access Contract together with Network Rail, the integration of the control rooms and implementing an integrated rostering system.
He was team leader Operations/Performance/Safety and Security for the London Rail Concession bid and Operations Director designate. After that he was Bid Manager for the preparation of Nexus Metro. He is now seconded to Merseyrail as Transition Director and is responsible for business transformation, new fleet project, new concession agreement, service proposition and internal communication strategy.
Berry holds a Masters degree in Business management
